President Karen Quartaro called the meeting to order on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 12:05 pm at the American Legion. Brad Pearson led the invocation and pledge. Dustin Riccio was the Sgt. at Arms.
Our Greeter, Tom Roote, introduced our visitors and guests. Carl Grovanz, Ontario-Walworth Club Member was our lone visiting Rotarian, and Acting District Attorney, Chris Bokelman, guest of Dr. Dave Hannan, was our lone guest.
Service: Jan Hence thanked everyone who is working on the Pancake Breakfast. She said the Mobile Pantry has officially moved to the Fire Station. She is still collecting money for the raffle. She asked everyone to please sign-up to help at the Pancake Breakfast.
Membership: Kevin Mooney said the committee approved Trudy Hicks' application for membership at their last meeting.
PR: Graham Tedesco-Blair said space is running out in the Assembly Program: get your ad in now!
Foundation: Fred Hicks announced that the Foundation Lunch is March 26 at noon at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor. It costs $30 per person.
Camp Onseyawa: Marge Gile announced the golf tournament to benefit the camp will be June 10 this year.

Greg Gray recently traveled to the Virgin Islands with his father.
Bob and Jean Bendix recently suffered through a trip to Hawaii.
Adam Olschewske's son recently turned 5 and did not ask for toys--he just wanted architectural landmarks.
Queen of Hearts: For the second week in a row, Sue Colacino won the right to choose the wrong card. Sorry Sue.
DistrictGovernor-Nominee-Designate, Dave Hannan introduced our presenter, Acting District Attorney, Christopher Bokelman. Mr. Bokelman discussed the district's Drug Court. The Drug Court seeks to keep people arrested for drug related crimes out of prison and involved with a less costly and more effective rehabilitation program. He said Wayne County's Drug Court is one of the most successful of its kind in the state.
