President Karen Quartaro called the meeting to order on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 12:05 P.M. at the American Legion. Walt Hallagan led the invocation and pledge. Karen Vanderbrook was the Sargent at Arms.
President Quartaro's Fine People were all the members of the District Training Assembly Planning Committee.
Kevin Mooney reminded everyone to sign-up for the District Training Assembly if you plan to attend but have not signed-up at this point.
President Quartaro and Kurt Baker each won Easter Baskets in hard fought auctions, skillfully MC'd by Graham Tedesco-Blair. Luckily, no one was harmed.

Foundation: Fred Hicks attended the Anniversary Brunch last Saturday. Our club was recognized at the brunch for 100% participation in the Foundation in 2015-2016 and for our work to end Polio.
Queen of Hearts: Brad Pearson won the raffle, but lost the war.
Happy Moments:
Ted O'Toole spent five weeks in Aruba and brought back the Aruba Rotary Club flag.
Peter Dohr said a coalition of community groups are organizating a discussion on May 2nd at 9 A.M. - 3 P.M. at the BOCES Conference Center about how to help area children and help them stay in their homes. Everyone was welcome to attend.
Gail Chambers announced that Community Pride Day will be May 20th this year.
Michele McManus said up to 48 people signed-up to attend the Progressive Dinner, but we need more hosts.
John Tickner and his guest, former local D.J. Bob Scott, discussed the storied history of our local radio station, 1420 WACK. The station is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. Congratulations, WACK!
