The meeting was called to order by President John on Thursday, March 6, at 12:05 pm at the Quality Inn. The invocation and pledge to the flag were led by President John.
Our guests were introduced by our greeter, Karl Joyce: Bobby Ellis, guest of Adam O., Corrine Veith, guest of Brenda Westcott, Gabe, guest of the club, Tom McUmber, guest of Susie McUmber and Brent Holdridge, guest of Rich Holdridge. Dave O'Dell and Barbara Harper were visiting from the Clyde club.
Bob and Lynne Goodman have both been in the hospital. Laura Monte is in the hospital in a medically induced coma. Mike DeJohn's wife, Angie, had a stroke. Harold Glerum passed away. Please keep everyone in your prayers and let Bob Goodman know if anyone needs our prayers.
PDG Norma presented Jan Hence with a Paul Harris Fellow +6. 'Save the date', May 17, for our 2nd annual Progressive Dinner. Final registration deadline for the District Conference is March 22. The District Leadership Assembly is April 5, at Geneseo High School. Dave encouraged new members to attend. Christina Hardter announced the 'Helping your local school' program. She invited anyone interested to choose a book and stop by the library to have yourself recorded reading. Tim Johnson purchased the exempt badge for March. President John gave well wishes to everyone with a birthday, wedding anniversary or club anniversary in March. Denise Minier lead us singing Happy Birthday.
Service Tom Root volunteered to cook during the first shift of the Pancake Breakfast. Greg Gray volunteered for clean up duty for the Food Pantry. Please buy or sell your Pancake Breakfast tickets and submit your money to Jan. Please sell or buy the pizza raffles tickets. First place is pizza every week for a year. Second place is a microwave donated by Ruffalo Applioance. The drawing will take place at the Rotary meeting following the Pancake Breakfast. Please bring Silent Auction donations to Jan. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, Michele is taking those to buy items for theme baskets.
Future Visions We have not reached 100% participation in Foundation giving. If you have not yet made a donation, please see Fred Hicks. Fred is still accepting Paul Harris Fellow nominations.

Dave O'Dell and Barbara Harper presented a video about the District 7120 Conference at the Sheraton - Burlington in Burlington Vermont, May 2 - 4, 2014. You will have the opportunity to take a 'Taste of Vermont' tour to Cold Cider Mill, Vermont Glass Blowers, Cabot Cheese Annex, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Vermont Teddy Bear. You will have time on your own to visit other attractions such as Green Mountain Coffee Company and the VonTrap Farm. There will also be a Bike Tour and a Golf Tournament. Breakout Sessions will include: Paul Harris, Reintroduction of Moose, Peace Scholar, Dr. Heit on Polio, Ethan Allen and Adopt a Village. You must register for the conference my March 22.
