President Karen Quartaro called the meeting to order on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 12:03 P.M. at the American Legion. Kevin Mooney led the invocation and pledge. Mark Sheldon was the Sgt. at Arms.
President Quartaro’s Fine People for the Week are teams and volunteers that helped with the Wayne County Literacy Volunteers Spelling Bee.
President Quartaro read the birthdays and anniversaries for March. Jean Bendix led the group singing Happy Birthday.

President Quartaro read a recent letter from Sami Cepulo.
We can now order new magnetic nametags. Mark Kreuser will transfer any club member’s current nametag for a magnet one if they like.
Michele McManus asked everyone to sign-up on the pink sheet if you plan to attend the Progressive Diner. This will help the committee figure out how much food to order.
PDG Norma Reilly and President Quartaro presented Frank All with his +2 Paul Harris Fellow Award for his contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Congratulations, Frank, and thank you for you generosity over the years!

Membership: Keven Mooney asked everyone to please sign-up for the District Assembly meeting.
Foundation: Fred Hicks announced the Foundation Brunch on March 26, at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor. Tickets are $30 per person. Fred encouraged everyone to read an article in this month’s Rotary magazine about Lake Erie.
Gary Reilly announced that the district has cases of wine for $220—for each case sold the district would make a $100 donation in your honor. The next Community Service meeting is next Wednesday at Parker’s.

Adam Olschewske discussed “No Roof Left Behind” a charitable event in which Marshall Exteriors gives away a free roof to a local needy or deserving family. He asked everyone to please nominate someone at www.noroofletftbehind.com.
