Public Health Educator from Wayne County Public Health

Ryan Mulhern began his career as a Public Health Educator for Wayne County Public Health in 2011. His primary role was addressing tobacco cessation efforts both locally and with the regional Tobacco Action Coalition of the Finger Lakes (TACFL). His educational efforts expanded to include car seat and bike helmet safety, dental health, chronic diseases & diabetes management programs and much more. You can find Ryan in the community working with youth programs, Head Starts, Senior Nutrition sites and at our local community hospital connecting the medical community with our Public Health priorities. Ryan has made significant contributions to working on national Public Health Accreditation for our department, the Community Health Assessment and the Community Health Improvement Projects. He displays a level of devotion and commitment to making Wayne County Public Health an outstanding Public Health Department.
