Michele McManus was sorry to announce that her younger sister in Florida has tested positive twice for the virus and each time feeling a little worse.

HEALTHY MOMENT

Grace Norcott joined us on zoom onThursday.  She had helpful suggestions for those who suffer with the seasonal transition into fall.  EMBRACE AUTUMN!  Enjoy pumpkin spice(I love pumpkin flavored coffee cream), appreciate the harvest, fall colors, hiking, football(Go Bills), buying pumpkins and Halloween.

“A change in the leaves can mean Life can change’.

BAD-DAD JOKES

This weeks jokes came to Gary from a friend in Australia.

It’s been a bit of a strange day.  First, I found a hat full of money. Then I was chased by an angry man with a guitar.

Picked up a hitch-hiker.  Seemed like a nice guy.  After a few miles, he asked me if I was afraid that he might be a serial killer?  I told him that the odds of two serial killer being in the same car were extremely unlikely.

I told my wife I wanted to be cremated.........She made an appointment for next Tuesday!

If you see me talking to myself, I am having a staff meeting.

SPEAKERS - SCOTT HEALY & DOUG FORGUE

Steve Hallagan introduced two well known Newark Rotarians who spoke to us on the exciting topic of tax laws.  Scott is a certified Public Accountant and a Chartered global management Accountant.  He has practiced in Newark since 1984 and recently established his own firm.  Doug has worked with Scott for the past 18 years and is excited to work with him going forward as a Newark based CPA firm.

Scott and Doug are extremely knowledgeable concerning the new tax laws.  Thank goodness for people who find this interesting and are willing to share their knowledge with our Club.  I tried to read my notes from Thursday’s meeting and decided I’m happy that Fred and I are clients of this BRILLIANT CPA firm! If you have any tax questions please call Scott and Doug.
