Last week Nate Rowan updated us on the Rochester Red Wings. The Red Wings promise another exciting season this spring and summer. This week we look forward to hearing Tom Hawks' story of his battle against cancer.

CAMP ONSEYAWA

The mission of Rotary Camp Onseyawa is to provide a camping experience for 8-16 year old children with disabilities from the 4 county area.  The Play for the Children Golf tournament raises money to provide these camp experiences.  If you are not a golfer you can contribute by being a sponsor or buying raffle tickets.  Please look for Norma on Thursdays eating lunch in the corner and waiting for your contribution to this worthy cause.

FATHER’S DAY BBQ

Our final chicken BBQ of this rotary year will be held on Father’s Day - June 16th.You will be given only 2 tickets to purchase or sell.  Please get your $20 or unsold tickets to Anthony Bianchini or Carole Nary by Thursday June 6th.

 

The first event Newark Rotary Club is organizing for Dave Hannan's soon-to-be year as district governor is the Changeover Dinner. The dinner will be held at the RIT Conference Center on June 28, 2019. Please click the link below for more information and registration information.
