President Holly asked Matt Cook to give an update. Matt explained the parade being held for the Newark High School seniors on June 12th.
Kevin Mooney reminded club members to pay their dues, which were due to be paid on June 15th.
Jan updated the club on the upcoming chicken barbecue. She asked all members to update her on their sales. Jan is hoping that this will be the best chicken barbecue yet.
Holly and Donna Johnson are working on the changeover meeting being held on June 25th.
A video was shown of a small parade held for Ramon the day before he left for Switzerland.
Jean Bendix said she received a photo from Youth Exchange student Isabella from Brazil who recently gave birth to a baby girl. Holly announced that Austrian Youth Exchange Student Toni recently gave birth to her first baby.
Steve Hallagan was excited that he got a haircut!
Frank All's grandson Connor was recently selected as the Freshman of Year in "I Make a Difference". Connor acknowledged his grandfather. Frank's granddaughter Emily in Penfield is the top BOCES student in cosmetology.
Matt Cook said that he is working nonstop on preparing for the fall return of students to Newark schools. He is also on a state task force working on the same challenges.
Linda Werts reminded Holly about the upcoming Bob Goodman Blood Drive on June 24th. (See flyer below)
DG Dave Hannan said that the district changeover will be a virtual ceremony on June 27th.
Bill Doebler spoke about how Rotary was 51 years ago in Newark. Much has changed since then!
Karen Quartaro asked everyone to make a donation to the Rotary Foundation of at least $25.
Steve Taylor also got a haircut!
Gary Reilly thinks that Mike DeJohn is at Clifton Hospital.
