HEALTHY MOMENT
Grace Norcott had some great ideas for coping with (post?) election stress - At last Thursday’s meeting we were still counting votes!
TRY to focus on what you can control and all that is positive in your life.
Limit social media and watching the news.
Concentrate on friends and family, volunteering, exercise or activities other than politics.
Love one another - “When you are tempted to fight fire with fire remember that fire fighters use WATER!
BAD DAD JOKES
This week’s jokes are compliments of the Legion Magazine
Don’t shoot the messenger!
A customer ordered a Swiss Cheese Sandwich, then changed his mind. “would it be possible to change that to an American Cheese Sandwich he asked? The counterman called to the cook - “Naturalize that Swiss”.
I had dinner with a world chess champion and there was a checkered tablecloth.
It took him two hours to pass the salt.
A mother asked her son, What did your father say when you wrecked the new car?
Shall I leave out the swear words?, he replied. His mother said please do.
“Not a thing”
