Speaker - Dave Christler

Dave was scheduled to give this speech in Newark’s Central Park on a rainy Memorial Day in the past.  After the first lightening strike the audience left!!  He wanted to give the speech again and give tribute to a good friend and fallen patriot. Thursday he had our undivided attention as we zoomed from our homes. His High School friend, Richard Bornheimer lived in Newark and worked on the family farm.  He and Dave attended Newark Schools.  Dave has fond memories of his 1950 Studebaker.

Richard volunteered for the service and flew helicopters in the Vietnam war.  He was killed in 1968, two days from coming home.

REMEMBERING THOSE WHO SERVED

Mike Muscolino shared memories of his classmate and football friend who died serving his country.

Dave Hannan remembered Uncles who lost their lives in the war.

Suzie Earl was lucky to have a brother that survived but spent time in a prisoner of war camp.

Marc and Holly are proud of their recent college graduate - Ryan graduated from Oswego and will be attending graduate school at Nazareth studying Art Therapy.

Having survived 2 months of the quarantine - home alone with Fred - I decided the time was right for retirement.  During a pandemic is not the time to work in the dental field!
