Call To Order
President Karen Quartaro called the meeting to order on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 12:05 P.M. at the American Legion.  Tim Johnson led the invocation and pledge.   Kurt Werts was the Sgt. at Arms. 
Our Visiting Rotarians and Guests
Our Greeter, Linda Werts, introduced our visiting Rotarians and our guests.  Visiting from other clubs were Past District Governor (PDG) Eric Parker of the Penn Yan club, Carol Demoulin of the Rochester Club, and Assistant District Governor (ADG) Pam Dean of the Pal-Mac Club. Wika was our lone guest of the club.
Wellness Report
Sue Colacino is in South Korea picking up a new member of her family, her adopted granddaughter, Grace.
President’s Minute and Announcements
President Quartaro’s Fine Person of the week was Assistant District Governor Pam Dean. 
 
At the their last meeting, the Board approved a $100 grant for the annual Kiddie Day Parade for $100 and a grant for 2 campers to attend the 4H camp in Beachwood. 
 
Norma Reilly presented a Paul Harris +3 to Susie Earl.  Congratulations and thank you, Susie! 
 
Michele McManus said we now have enough host homes for the Progressive Dinner. 
 
President Quartaro reminded us that next week we will present the hospital with a $3,000 check from the club. 
 
President Quartaro fined Tom Roote for going over time for the District Training Assembly.  Tom announced that his Aunt and Uncle were named the Tully Rotary Club’s Outstanding Citizens of the year.  Tom gave our banner to the Tully club.

Committee Reports
Community: Gary Reilly reminded everyone to write down ideas for community service in the small notebooks on the tables.  Jan Hence announced that Blessing in a Backpack will start up soon.  Please bring items in May.  Linda Werts said Mobile Pantry kicks-off May 9.  They need help emptying the pallets.  Please volunteer. 
 
Membership: Kevin Mooney said clubs registered and paid for 406 people to attend the District Training Assembly.   Three Hundred and fourteen of those registered attended.  We earned $4700 net profit for the club. 
 
Coke Veith said Community Bank will provide Social Security workshops soon. 
 
Queen of Hearts: Russ Harris picked the wrong card.
Last Week's Program
Gary Reilly introduced this week’s presenter, PDG, Eric Parker.  Eric discussed the Rotary Foundation.  He encouraged everyone to participate in the Paul Harris Society and the Sustaining Member Society (give $100 every year).  The District Goal is for every one of our members to contribute at the Sustaining level.
