Jean Bendix welcomed her friend Cindy Timerson. Tracy Crosby (former Newark Rotarian) was visiting from Clifton Springs Rotary with her significant other, Dave Johnson from ARC.
WELLNESS REPORT
Jean Williams reported that she had recently talked with the Reinhardts. Helmuth is waiting on some tests but getting along fairly well, even doing some shoveling. Hannelora mentioned that she misses everyone. Jean may deliver Chicken & Biscuit dinners to them on Feb. 21st.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Karen Q. announced that we have collected $213 for Laurel House in the name of Chelle VanLaeken. She challenged Zoomers to join in and send checks to Newark Rotary POB 374.
President Donna shared the handmade card she received from the girls at the Tubman house. They appreciated the Christmas gifts we sent.
Doug Forgue announced that we are waiting to hear about the status of the Hill Cumorah pageant. We should know in March if they will have the pageant this year for the last time.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP INDUCTION
Dave Johnson and Jessica Blondell from Wayne ARC were sponsored by Gary and Norma Reilly. This is our first corporate membership.
Dave is the Primary Corporate Designee and the Foundation Director at ARC. Dave offered an open invitation for tours of ARC. Dave lives in Victor with two teenage daughters and his significant other, Tracy Crosby - president elect in the Clifton Springs Rotary.
Jessica graduated from SUNY Plattsburg with 2 degrees in Journalism. She is currently the Development co-ordinator at ARC. She also works part time at the House of John in Clifton Springs in the areas of PR and fundraising. She is a former Interactor at Midlakes High School.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
ADMINISTRATION - Bob Bendix reported that they will finalize the bi-laws following Thursday’s Rotary meeting. Steve Hallagan is looking for suggestions for new programs. Bob thanked Holly and Karen Q for their role in checking members in to each meeting and coordinating meal orders.
YOUTH SERVICES - Michele is involved in the ongoing search for an interact advisor. She has description forms for anyone to pick up.
SECRETARY - Jeff Patchen reported that our attendance is holding steady at 45-50. He needs some address updates - check on club runner.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - Mitch Ruffalo reported that Linda Werts will be going to Mexico in March for the Living Water Project. Another Blood Drive will be held on April 20th at the American Legion. A new Spring project is the Great Lakes Water shed Clean-up. The highway clean-up group may be involved. The environment and cleaning along the canal is a new area of focus.
Alecia Vasquez reported that the Spelling Bee in the era of Covid will look different. Great prizes can be won in a new unscramble game - stay tuned.
FUNDRAISING - Jan Hence thanked the workers for a successful Lasagna dinner-221 meals served. Thank you Kevin Mooney for the beautiful flyer and Ann Rogers for making home deliveries.
On February 21st we will have another Chicken&Biscuit dinner. (Josh McCrossen has the honor of being the first to buys tickets for the dinner.)
MEMBERSHIP - Melissa Correia recently sent our 35 note cards to members who haven’t been to meetings in quite a while. We are thinking of them and want to let them know we miss them.
FOUNDATION - Fred Hicks reported that out of 110 members 74 have sent in their contribution for this year. Don Alhart announced that 16 clubs haven’t given anything.
PUBLIC IMAGE - Josh McCrossen is making an attempt to visit other committee meetings. He is grateful for John Zornow’s work on behalf of our Public Image. He is looking for a Social Media Lead to publicize events of the Club.
