Service: Jan Hence thanked everyone for returning their raffle tickets, but asked the club to bring in more. The committee continues to seek donations for auction prizes. Community Service/PR committee meeting is next week at Parker's at noon. Mobile Pantry will no longer be at Marble Town. We will move it to Fireman’s Field.
Membership: Kevin Mooney reminded everyone to write down prospective members or service ideas. Please sign-up for the District Meeting Assembly if you plan to attend. The next Membership meeting is coming up on February 14 at Parker's at noon. Trudy Hicks dropped off her application for membership recently.
Foundation: Fred Hicks said the Foundation is at $10,400.
Interact: Holly Kreuser said Interact met yesterday and discussed the Family Literacy Fun event coming up. We are looking for book contributions that kids can take home at the event. They would also like to greet the Honor Flight participants when they return. A bus costs $300, but have $200 left in their budget. She passed around a sign-up to see if Rotarians are interested in joining Interact members on the bus. She is doing this to gauge whether or not there is enough interest to justify booking the bus.
Camp Onseyawa: Marge Gile said there are enough people interested to have a committee to organize a game at the Camp Onseyawa Carnival.
Happy Moments
Shawn paid a fine for missing the past two weeks so that he could spend time with his baby daughter and two-year-old son before having to send them to daycare.
Adam Olschewske announced that his roof give-away event “No Roof Left Behind” is coming up. If you know people in need of a roof, please encourage them to sign-up.
Gale Chambers made Bruce Chambers pay a fine for sitting next to her.
Jim Praino announced that his grandson, a goalie for his high school hockey team, was featured in the newspaper recently. He was born with a clubbed foot, and worked to become an outstanding goalie and student. His other grandson, a 7th grader, plays basketball and beat everyone in his middle and high school in a recent free-throw fundraiser.
Holly Kreuser did not draw the Queen.
