Julie grew up in Newark, is married and has 2 children. She is on the Board of Education and has been a massage therapist since 2007. Started her own business in 2021, JN Massage.
She offers several types of massage to enhance overall health and rehabilitation: Soft tissue, trigger point massage, body wraps, medical and connective tissue, hot stones, ACE cupping, to name a few.
People ask all the time: how often do I need a massage and what type of massage do I need? There is no simple answer - it will depend on what your needs and goals are. She likes to help people recover from medical issues or have experience an injury of some sort.
Her location is at 301 Prospect Street in Newark. (315) 879-0611
Questions:
What are the demographics of clients? Teens to age 91
Are there typical injuries you treat? Sports injuries, pre-natal, common strains and muscle pulls. She really enjoys doing the soft tissue melting
Reminder from Julie - when you have a massage and something doesn’t feel right - speak up please. Your massage therapist needs to know how your body is responding.
Reminder from Gail Chambers: Julie is a local entrepreneur supporting our local economy and is a positive contributor to our village and school district.
Are there different prices for the different types of massage? Julie uses the same pricing for Swedish or deep tissue massage. There is a different price for pre-natal and an additional charge for ACE cupping.
