In August we inducted a new corporate member: Reliant Credit Union with Karen Hoad and Stephanie Weiss as its representatives.
We began the month with Joanna Meyer who spoke to us about Camp Onseyawa and the upcoming camp.
The following week we heard from Ann DeMers and the Rotary Peace Pole initiative.
Mike Ruffles updated us on the Newark-Wayne and Clifton Springs hospitals. He is president and COO of these hospitals.
Frank Capozzi, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes, spoke to us about their work in the region. He also announced that Mitch Ruffalo will join their board, joining Newark Rotarians Ted O'Toole and Josh McCrossen.
President Chuck presented a check from the Newark Rotary Foundation to Family Promise. They are now providing assistance to families in Newark at the First United Methodist Church.
