Doug reported Haiti asked to use their donation for the neighboring village - Doug’s reply was affirmative. Then a group from Florida heard about our monies raised and donated to Haiti. Excellent results through Doug’s communication!

Norma is co-chair with Chrissy Kent for the Newark Rotary Family Fest on Sept. 10. Norma went over EVERY ASPECT of the Family Festival. 

A basket pass collected $170 for Michele and her team to put together silent auction baskets for the festival.

WOW! THIS YOUNG MAN IS SO INSPIRING!!!
Braxton Guy was born and raised in Newark. He graduated from SUNY Geneseo this past spring with a degree in Sociology. Braxton has been working with youth since he was in high school, where he began coaching basketball. Since then, Braxton has continued coaching many sports, along with becoming a director for a School Age Program at the Phelps Community Center. Currently, Braxton works for Wayne County Community Schools and began a group called The Future Run the Streets. The group has focused on keeping youth active and engaged in the community.
