- Mike Muscolino shared that the AECC received a generous donation from a former Newark resident
- Rotary Anniversaries: Bill Doebler - 54 years; Donna Johnson - 7 years; Karen Quartaro - Bruce Chambers - 19 years; Lucina Hallagan - 3 years; Frank All - 17 years; Gail Chambers - 17 years
- Malwina — went to Sodus Point and rode a jet ski, went to the prom - it was held at Clifton Springs CC, went to Darian Lake and Sea Breeze — enjoyed herself very much
- Chrissy Kent — asking for donations for this years senior class party “Operation Graduation”.
Committee Updates:
- Youth Services - we will be celebrating Malwina’s departure next week, 6/15. We need a new Interact Chairperson; we will receive a new inbound student for the 23/24 school year;
- New inbound student - a young man from Mexico: Luis
- Membership - received an application for a new member - more info coming
- Foundation — we have reached our annual fundraising goal for the foundation, we are still a little bit short for Polio Plus (goal is $3,000 - we have raised $2,227). Reminder all funds donated will be matched up to 100 points. We have 53 active multiple Paul Harris Fellows - 11 were recognized this year. We have awarded 4 new Paul Harris Fellow awards this year
- Newark Fest update from Adam O. - we have 2 bands lined up
- Raffle - cash raffle fundraiser - there will be 9 winners; only 250 tickets sold. Net proceeds will be $15,000. Please try to sell at least one ticket so that we can fund our valuable Rotary Projects. Remember groups can go in together to share the cost of a ticket.
Happy Moments:
- Mitch Ruffalo was away for almost 2 weeks - had a great time visiting with family
- Jeff Patchen - son got married - special thanks to Michele McManus for making such a beautiful wedding cake.
- Adam O - puppy update — she is now taking over the household even the older dog!
- Marc Kreuser just returned from a road trip with daughter, Grace. Especially loved Glacier National Park. Visited Seattle for a few days — glad to be back home.

Program: Paul Zittle from Cross Creek church in Palmyra, NY

- have a huge community store where community members can come to get things they need like shoes, back packs, etc.
- Newark Sunday/Funday will be on August 27th at Perkins Park from 2 to 5. Will also offer hair cuts in addition to the other things.
