Newark Rotarians and District 7120 Rotarians gathered to celebrate 100 years of Rotary Club of Newark service to the community and to the world.
District Governor Lisa Norwood was our guest speaker. She emphasized how Newark Rotary was will to do things differently, such as the creation of the FLX Rotary Satellite Club.
The organizing committee worked hard to create displays with the history of the club. Before the dinner, Rotarians had the opportunity to socialize and view the displays.
PDG Dave Hannan was our MC and did an excellent job of guiding us through the evening events.
The reception room at the Clifton Springs Country Club was full of Newark Rotarians and guests.
PDG Norma Madayag Reilly spent countless hours collecting photos of our 100 past presidents. Newark Rotary has the distinction of never having a repeat club president.
ADG Susan Salvagio introduced DG Lisa and gave a great presentation.
District Governor Nominee Richard de Asis also spoke to our club and presented a copy of our original charter to our club.
