Newark Rotary honored veterans on March 1, 2025 as part of its annual Newark Rotary Salutes community outreach program.
Veterans from the area were invited to a lunch a the Roosevelt Children's Center in Newark.
The local VFW presented the colors. State Senator Pam Helming and Assemblyman Brian Manktelow spoke to the veterans and their guests.
Dave Christler organized the event with the help of his committee.
Club President Jim Weiler also spoke to the veterans and their guests.
Numerous Newark Rotarians helped with this event.
It was a cold windy day!
