- Scott Healy will be traveling to St. Bonaventure where they are retiring his nieces number 42. Congratulations!

Program: Scott Healy introduced Dave Hannan who joined Rotary in 1986. He is a veteran, thank you for your service, is a retired physician, is a past district governor and the chair of District 7120 Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus.
The theme, Create Hope in the World fits the mission of the Rotary Foundation: The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
Monies go towards: Global grants, district grants, disaster response grants, PolioPlus campaign, program of scale grants.
PolioPlus is a promise to the children of the world - to eradicate polio across the globe. Together with the Gates Foundation our progress to date: In 1988 there were 350,000 cases of polio worldwide,,,,, In 2023 there were 10 cases worldwide. In 1994 the Western Hemisphere was declared polio free. We must keep working towards complete eradication.
Disaster response monies that came back to District 7120: $25,000 for covid relie:, $25,000 for Ukraine refugee projects.
District grants meet local needs. Reminder: when you give to The Rotary Foundation, you are giving to help projects in our area in addition to worldwide projects. Some of the local projects have been: Camp ONSEYAWA pavilions, Canal Trail Improvement, Habitat for Humanity, Laurel House Awnings & Furniture; Newark Library Customer Service Desk, Firemen’s Field Building Entrance Paving, Scholarship & AECC game tables, and more.
