  • Luis is selling coffee as a fundraiser for his high school senior trip.
  • Service Above Self Dinner registration deadline is today (October 19th).
  • President Adam got into a fight with his ophthalmologist? And a red eye was the result?
  • Holly and Marc were in Texas. They attended a wedding in Dallas and saw Grace in Waco TX, home of Magnolia (of Chip and Joanna Gains headquarters).
  • Adam listened to Chip Gaines’ audio book.  Adam thought Chip was talking very fast, until Adam discovered that the recording was being played at 1.5 x speed!
  • Doug Doebler was in Park City, Utah. Went to Robert Redford’s restaurant hoping to meet him. But no luck. Doug was the taxi driver in “The Natural”, which was filmed in Buffalo.
  • Haiti update - School tuition program raised $42,000 which helped pay the full tuition for many children. The children attend Silva’s school. They are building a village. and battling gangs who keep stealing their metal roofing. Also they are building an 80-house village in another location. Eleven Haitians now live in Canandaigua. All kids are in school. Doug is looking for a used car or minivan.
  • Bob and Jean Bendix have been given the all-clear to go to LA to visit their new grandson in November.
  • Gary Reilly selling Camp Onseyawa  raffle tickets and dinner tickets.
  • Norma Reilly- Regrets dollar for not going to the Service Above Self dinner.
  • Norma - Gave advanced congrats to the Service Above Self recipients. Gary had to pay for that!
  • Ken George graphically described a white Durango striking a deer in front of his house which took out his mailbox. Thank goodness most of us were done with lunch!
  • Dave Doebler was in the Thousand Islands where he hit a coyote. He also travelled to Washington, D.C. He enjoyed that and had a great time that. He saw a bear on the way back in Pennsylvania.
  • Karen Hoad - Red Cross is still in Wayne County. The Red Cross representative actually lives in the county. November 20th is the next blood drive.
  • Jim Westfall has been visiting National Parks.
