Last Thursday, the Newark Rotary Foundation presented a $5,000 check to Habitat for Humanity.

Strange Laws:
In Alabama it is illegal to war a fake mustache that causes laughter at church and also to chain your alligator to a fire hydrant
In Alaska it is illegal to whisper in someone’s ear while they hunt for moose; it is an offense to push a moose out of an airplane and you also may not view moose from an airplane
In Arizona it is illegal to hunt camels and it is also illegal for men and women over the age of 18 to have less than 1 missing tooth visible while smiling.

Program: Information on the upcoming District 7120 Conference in Saratoga Springs on April 26 - 28.
Steve Hallagan introduced Helen Zamboni, Avon Rotary to speak about the conference. She shared that Saratoga Springs is an absolutely beautiful location. Saturday afternoon is free time — there will be a tour of the race track (additional fee) In 2024 Saratoga Springs will host the Belmont Stakes. There will be a poker run sponsored by the local merchants who are Rotarians.
Presentation on Linking Hands for Learning — supporting building schools in Nicaragua. There will be a presentation by ROC City Rotary. There will be a service opportunity on Saturday — putting together 10,000 meals that will be distributed in Tompkins County.
Entertainment on Saturday will be “Flying Ivories” a dueling piano group.
Golf Tournament - being planned by Naples Rotary Club — information will be coming soon on the District Website.
