Linda Werts was recognized as a Rotary Foundation Major Donor during our last meeting of January. Congratulations Linda!
During this meeting we also heard from Doug and Sila regarding the Kay Espwa orphanage in Haiti. Our 50-50 Queen of Hearts proceeds are sent to the orphanage.
Earlier in the month we heard from two of our scholarship winners and their experiences during their first semester of college.
John Addyman spoke to us about dementia and Alzheimers, a disease more of us are encountering.
As the tax season approached, Scott and Doug gave us a brief update on new tax laws for 2026.
Finally, the FLX Rotary Satellite Club met in January to continue becoming organized.
