The Newark Rotary Pancake Breakfast returned in March and was a great success!

While Josh looked for his next coffee customer, guests both young and old enjoyed the pancake breakfast.

Dave was back at it with his balloon designs, which are always a big hit with the youngsters.

Somewhere behind all this kitchen equipment were Rotarians making pancakes, muffins and sausages.

Pastors Gary McCaffery and Della Ludwig of the Newark First United Methodist Church spoke about the unification with the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. They also gave provided us an informative update on the Free Lunch Program and the Newark Food Closet. The Free Lunch Program, started by Alice and Manny Crespo, began in 1993. The Newark Food Closet supports about 150 families each week.

Katie Pullen guided us, using our smartphones, how to share events on Facebook. With the Newark Family Fest in August, the goal is to get each of us to help publicize the event. Her slideshow can be found here.

And we still do not a winner for the Queen of Hearts!
