We welcomed Arnie Rothschild, Chairman of the RBTL, to our meeting. He discussed the upcoming RBTL season and the "restoration" of the West Herr Performing Arts Center (The Auditorium).

West Herr Auditorium Complex - renovating the Auditorium Theater. It was originally built as the Masonic Headquarters in 1928 - 1934. There are actually 4 different theater complexes on the total property.
The goal is to restore the building and make it ADA accessibility compliant. Adding elevators, widening hallways, and make it visually appealing. Annually they put at least 8,000 students through educational events at the theater. It is a 75 million project - scheduled to be completed by 2030. West Herr is sponsoring the project - they have raised 15 million so far — it can be done! The goal is a performing arts center that is safe, accessible and a source of pride.
