- Linda Werts - reminder that this is literacy awareness month. What are you currently reading?
- Literacy Committee - we need some members. If interested please contact Linda Werts. There is a Literacy Seminar on 9/23 at the Rotary Room at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs. Contact Linda Werts if you are interested in attending.
- International Committee — 9/21 at 11:00 meeting at the Legion.
- Administration Committee — tasked with making sure that the club functions effectively and efficiently.
- Nominating Committee: President, President Elect, President Nominee, Secretary, Administration Chair
- Public Image — Josh McCrossen — needs some membership. If interested please contact Josh — 2nd Thursday of the month immediately following the Rotary Meeting.
- Fundraising — Thank you for purchasing $100 Raffle tickets — so far we have sold 170 tickets.
- Youth Services meet the 4th Wednesday of each month, 12noon at Grind On — Michele McManus updated the club regarding Luis Barbosa who is staying with the Nevilizer’s and on our outbound student, Andrea Malach who is doing well in Denmark. We do not have an Interact Chair. If interested please reach out to Michele. The Interact Chair meets twice a month with student members, run 2 meetings of Rotary Club, have one local and one international service project.
Newark Fest Update: The festival is this Saturday, 9/9. We need all hands on deck!!
