Rotary Club of Newark, NY

Last week we had our last open meeting of the Rotary year.  Well, almost last...

Maurie Strobridge received the Paul Harris Fellow recognition at our meeting on May 13th. Maurie joined Newark Rotary in 1954 - over 67 years ago.
Last week we heard from Shawn Tallent of Rural Migrant Ministries and President Donna presented a Blue Badge to Chuck Waterman.

Last week we had many recognitions, from Paul Harris Fellow, to cleanup awards and a Blue Badge.

On April 24, 2021, Newark Rotary, along with Rotary clubs throughout the Great Lakes region in the USA and Canada, spent the morning cleaning up the banks of the Erie Canal and along State Route 88. Many bags of trash were collected, and some even found interesting items. It was a great day to help our planet!
The rainy weather did not stop the chicken barbecue on April 11th. People lined up and waited patiently for their meals.
